I AM AN ACTIVIST. It's not only what I do; it's who I am. Not long ago I was a wife, a home-owner and a full time photographer in Seattle. When my dream of doing marine conservation and direct-action activism was offered to me, I gave up my "American Dream" and followed my heart. This blog is my story of how changing your life is possible; how fulfilling your dreams can be a reality.
Circus Protest
A circus protest is an interesting thing; intriguing and mysterious, for a child a circus is shrouded in excitement and wonder and it's hard to comprehend that the animals don't absolutely love their lives. My friend, Georgia, and I organized a circus protest when the Stardust Circus came to an outter suburb of Melbourne, Australia. We enforced with the protestors that joined that we were there to protest in a civil manner; there was to be no screaming, no in-you-face aggression that would ultimately scare children and deter parents from our cause. We ended up having a fantastic day and reached out to hundreds of people.
