100 Goals

100 Goals is a concept born in the mind of my friend, Steven Severson. It is an idea that helps us focus and keep perspective on all the things we wish to do. I've always been a dreamer and my life has been a race to complete all these amazing things I wish to experience. My 100 Goals list is ever-changing and helps remind me what is important. It contains things that are simple and easy to accomplish to things that I might never be able to achieve. This page is dedicated to photos of me accomplishing tasks from my list.

#19: Get my tattoo for Jesse
On February 1, 2011, my dear friend, Jesse Maurer, died from injuries obtained in a car accident a few days prior. I awoke in Taiji, Japan to an email informing me of the loss. Jesse and I shared a love/hate relationship and through him I learned that forgiveness is the ultimate gift. I now have that small, yet hugely symbolic word tattooed across the inside of my left wrist where I can always see it.

#42: Visit Amsterdam
I've gone beyone visiting and am now living in Amsterdam! Being in this amazing city is like living in a postcard. The canals, the bicycles, the windmills and yes, the Red Light district. Amsterdam is a must-see.

#17: Meet Malcolm Holland
I don't have a photo of this one but checking this goal off my list was pretty damn exciting for me. Malcolm Holland has always been my favorite Sea Shepherd (isn't he everyone's favorite?) and meeting him last week was an honor. One day I'll have a photo to post along with this accomplished goal....;)
#12: Meet my brother, Tom
In October 2011, I drove to Vegas and met my older brother for the first time; I was 30, he was 48

#28: Go to a rooftop party in a big city
Because of my friend, Greg, I was able to celebrate my 31st birthday, in Feb 2012, on his rooftop overlooking the city of Melbourne, Australia

#64: Drink out of a coconut
Thanks to my friend, Georgia (my Crazy Coconut!), in Jan 2012 I ticked off my goal of drinking out of a coconut

#53: Sail the Strait of Gibraltar
I sailed Gibraltar aboard the Steve Irwin in July 2011

#18: Live on a tropical island
During the months of Nov & Dec 2011, I lived and worked on one of the Whitsunday Islands near Australia's Great Barrier Reef

#1: Be happy doing something I love
For the past two years I have been doing something I love: Activism

#13: Live on ship and sail the ocean
I accomplished this goal via crewing on the Steve Irwin
