This blog is about my other passion: MUSIC. And
not just listening to an album and totally digging it…I’m talking LIVE music. Amsterdam
has reared the head of its live music scene and made damn sure that I didn’t
ignore it. Well I see you, Amsterdam. I see you and your music. I see your
quaint venues and shy postering. In the past two nights I’ve discovered three
epic artists that have left me with chills in the middle of a hot, sticky
crowd. Among them are Thomas Azier, a Dutch beauty living in Berlin who has a
way of captivating his audience with smoldering eye contact and preacher-like
hand gestures and Jamie N Commons, a man with a voice like thick molasses, his song
entitled The Preacher takes you on a haunting journey with an unknown
